Young hero Nikhil has postponed Karthikeya 2. The decision was finally made. Initially, Karthikeya 2 is up for August 5th release which is the same date as Kalyan Ram’s Bimbisara and Dulquer Salman’s Sita Ramam as well. Nikhil and the Karthikeya 2 had a meeting with the distributors and they haven’t promised wide release for the film as there are other movies releasing as well.
So, Nikhil and his team decided to postpone the film by a week. Now, Karthikeya 2 will be released on August 12th. By avoiding a clash with Bimbisara and Sita Ramam, Karthikeya 2 picked up the clash with Nithiin’s Macherla Niyojakavargam. Also, the date is a bit problematic. Karthikeya 2 is having a Pan-Indian release.
Karthikeya 2 is going to be released in Hindi as well. But Aamir Khan’s Laal Singh Chaddha is getting released on August 11th. So, it is going to be a bumpy ride for the makers of Karthikeya 2.
