Telugu Cinema is back on the track after the films like RRR, KGF Chapter 2, etc., In May and June as well, there were a couple of hits for Tollywood. However, coming to July, it is a complete washout. Not even one film has managed to be average at least leave alone the successful.
It all started with Pakka Commercial which was released on July 1st. The movie Happy Birthday has shown a lot of promise released on July 7th and failed miserably. Ram’s The Warriorr is another big flop for Tollywood. Even Naga Chaitanya’s Thank You was a washout at the box office.
Now, Ravi Teja’s Rama Rao on Duty is the latest to bite the dust. The movie’s opening day collections are a testament that the movie will be a big failure.
We have to wait and see whether August films will be successful and put Telugu Cinema back on track.
