Generally, February is considered a dry season as not many notable films tend to release and this year is no different. Despite some notable releases, the Box-Office performance remains dull and the outcome is disappointing.
February started with the release of the Ambajipet Marriage Band. Though the film got decent reviews, the collections of this film were limited. Rajinikanth’s Lal Salaam is a big disappointment this month. The collections are embarrassing not only in Telugu but also in Tamil.
Yatra 2 which was based on the life of AP CM YS Jaganmohan Reddy has been outrightly turned down, unlike its first installment. Ravi Teja’s Eagle surprised the audiences with its action part but the drama was underwhelming so as did the collections.
Also, Sundeep Kishan’s Ooru Peru Bhairavakona could’ve been a potential winner but the weak presentation spoiled the party. All these films were rejected by the audiences and unfortunately, there is not even a single hit for Tollywood this month. Now, all the hopes shift in March.
