It has been made official. Making true all the speculations, Vijay Deverakonda and Puri Jagannath’s upcoming venture JGM has been put on hold for now. The core team thought that it is not the right time to make this project. Liger’s huge debacle has shown a huge impact on this decision.
JGM is a film that needs financial freedom. It is planned to be made on a whopping Rs. 200 Cr budget. Puri Jagannath, Charmme Kaur, and Vijay Deverakonda thought that Liger will be a hugely successful venture and went on with the project of JGM. Even a huge schedule was wrapped which cost them around Rs. 7 Crores.
Now, with the debacle of Liger, they are in pressure and the team sat out and come to terms regarding JGM. So, they have decided to shelve it. JGM will not be Puri Jagannath’s next project. He will direct another movie very soon.
