As many as four films were released for Diwali weekend. Sardar, Prince, Ori Devuda, and Ginna got released for the Diwali weekend and out of them, Ginna is a non-starter. The movie has seen show cancelation right from day one due to a lack of audiences and the shows were moved to another film.
Siva Karthikeyan’s Prince is a flop. It was promoted well but the reviews are not so great in Telugu. It was declared a flop. Vishwak Sen’s Ori Devuda and Karthi’s Sardar performed better on the weekend but they fell flat too on the weekdays. The films will end up as flops.
Chiranjeevi’s God Father has reached its final run and it ended up as a below-average entertainer. Rishab Shetty’s Kantara was a super hit in the Telugu States yet the film has slowed down considerably.
