After the super successful Kantara, a sequel to this intense devotional flick has been announced. Kannada star hero Rishab Shetty who directed the first part is playing the lead role and is directing the sequel as well. The regular shooting of this flick is going on very well. Compared to the first part, the sequel’s budget and span are quite huge.
With the film’s shooting going well, the tentative release date of Kantara 2 is out. As per the latest update, Kantara 2 is going to hit the screens during the Christmas weekend this year.
Kantara 2 will have Sapthami Gowda and Achyuth Kumar playing other important roles. Ajaneesh Loknath will compose the music and Hombale Films will be the production house. Kantara 2 is going to have a simultaneous Pan-Indian release, unlike the first part. More details about the movie will be out very soon.
