Nandamuri Kalyan Ram‘s Bimbisara is the latest super hit of Tollywood. The movie has collected a handsome share of Rs, 29.5 Cr by the end of 13 days. Bimbisara had a perfect weekend. Though it has stiff competition from Sita Ramam, it has emerged as a winner along with the latter film.
However, Bimbisara’s shares came down considerably as Karthikeya 2 also hit the right chords with the audiences. If not for the competition, Bimbisara could have managed Rs. 35 Cr share. Nevertheless, it is a hugely profitable venture for producers, distributors, and exhibitors.
Bimbisara is directed by Vasshista. The movie has Catherine Tresa, and Samyuktha Menon in the female lead roles. The sequel of Bimbisara is in the making now.
