Nandamuri Balakrishna made a comeback of sorts with the movie Akhanda which was released last year. He has now teamed up with Gopichand Malineni of Krack fame and the project is titled Veera Simha Reddy another out-and-out action entertainer from Balakrishna. The first glimpse of the movie has been received very well.
Recently, the makers have announced that Veera Simha Reddy is set for Sankranthi release. The exact date is not revealed. The regular shooting is not yet completed but will be wrapped up very soon. According to the latest update, the film’s USA distribution rights were bagged by Shloka Cinema by shelling out a whopping Rs. 3.80 Crores.
Shruti Haasan is the female lead of the project. Veera Simha Reddy is clashing with Chiranjeevi’s Waltair Veerayya, Prabhas’s Adi Purush, and other films for Sankranthi.
