Tollywood has a few seasons where it works big time. With Sankranthi being the most demanded season, even Summer and Dussehra can be the money-spinning seasons as well. Every Summer we witness at least 2-3 big movies striking at the box office. However, 2023 is a different season. This year no big movie got released for the Summer and it took a huge toll.
There are many mid range heroes who tried to test their luck but most of them ended up not so successful. Apart from Sai Tej’s Virupaksha no film from Summer scored a blockbuster. Ravi Teja, Naga Chaitanya, Allari Naresh, Gopichand, Akhil and Kiran Abbavaram released their movies for Summer and all their movies ended up being flops.
Ravanasura, Custody, Rama Banam, Agent, Meter, Ugram have turned out to be disasters. Apart from these, dubbing film Bichagadu 2 ended up being a successful one. Recently released 2018 has turned out to be a decent entertainer as well.
