Sankranthi is a crucial season for Telugu Cinema. It is the festive season where easily 3-4 biggies can be accommodated. Biggies didn’t want to miss the season as it can draw crowds to the theaters. Sankranthi 2023 is no different. Next year, Sankranthi is going to be a special clash as we are going to witness the box office clash between Chiranjeevi and Balakrishna.
Mega Star Chiranjeevi is coming with his action entertainer Waltair Veerayya which is scheduled for Sankranthi. So is Nandamuri Balakrishna’s Veera Simha Reddy. The strange coincidence is that both these films are being produced by the same production company Mythri Movie Makers. Both films are in the last stages of shooting and the promotions are yet to begin.
On the other hand, Vijay’s Vaarasudu is going to be released for Sankranthi as well. Dil Raju is the producer of the film and it is expected that he will block the majority of the theaters for Vaarasudu in Nizam. The producers need to announce the release dates of these flicks at the earliest.
