Off-late Kannada movies are surprising and all. After films like KGF, Vikrant Rona, and Garuda Gamana Vrishaba Vahana, the Kannada industry delivered another classic titled Kantara. The film had stupendous success at the Kannada box office. Audiences were blown away by the content and especially the last 20 minutes or so.
Now, Kantara is getting released in multiple languages. Kantara’s Telugu version is being distributed by Geetha Arts and it is being promoted well. According to the latest update, the movie’s OTT streaming partner is unveiled. Amazon Prime Video has bagged the digital rights to the movie.
Hombale Films are the producers of this movie and it is known that they are the producers of KGF as well. They have close ties with Amazon Prime and hence the deal was closed for a fancy amount. However, the release date might be announced at a later date.
