SJ Suriya‘s legal drama film Jai Bhim that was directed by T.J. Gnanavel has won several accolades after its release. The film had a direct OTT release on Prime Video and it has received a unanimously positive response. Jai Bhim is currently the highest-rated film on IMDB with 9.3/10. It becomes the first Indian film to achieve this feat. In the process, Jai Bhim surpassed some legends like The God Father, Shawshank Redemption, etc.,
Now, there comes another feather in the hat of SJ Suriya’s Jai Bhim. The film is now a part of The Oscars library. A couple of hours ago, a video of Jai Bhim has been uploaded to Oscar’s official Youtube channel. In the 12 minutes long video, the summary of the Jai Bhim is showcased along with the director T.J. Gnanavel’s explanation regarding the story and execution. The iconic scene featuring SJ Suriya in the courtroom also got a place in the video.
It is such a rare honor for an Indian film to be in Oscar’s library and get featured in their official Youtube Channel.
