AR Murugadoss was once celebrated as the top director of South India. He delivered continuous hits like Ghajini, Thuppaki, Katthi, etc., However, his recent track record is pale. He has delivered three consecutive disappointing films. Mahesh Babu’s Spyder, Vijay’s Sarkar, and Rajinikanth’s Darbar failed to entertain the audiences.
There were doubts raised about Murugadoss’s capability. The director went into the shell for a couple of years and is now finally ready with his next. The script work is completed and he has finalized the hero for this movie as well. Once worked with top heroes, Murugadoss this time had to settle with Simbhu.
He trusted Murugadoss and gave his nod. Simbhu recently played the lead role in Maanaadu which received huge critical acclaim. He will be next seen in the project Vendhu Thanindhathu Kaadu. The film is getting released on September 15th. AR Murugadoss-Simbhu’s film might go on floors later this year.
