The politics in Telangana are moving faster than anticipated. There have been a lot of rumors of YS Sharmila merging her party YSRTP into Congress for a long time. Though YS Sharmila denied it first, they haven’t died down. It has been now confirmed that Congress is in constant touch with YS Sharmila and is looking to bring her into the party.
However, Congress politics in Telangana look not settled. Revanth Reddy reportedly is against YS Sharmila into Congress. He openly commented that she would not be coming to the party when he was there. On the other hand, Congress Senior Leader Komatireddy stated that everyone should welcome YS Sharmila into the party.
The other night Sharmila and Komatireddy travelled on the same flight and when the media started to question them, YS Sharmila maintained strategic silence and just smiled. This indeed clears most of the questions. An official announcement will come soon. However, will Congress be one stand regarding YS Sharmila into Congress?
