Australia has completed the ICC trophies as they lift the second World Test Championship test mace. Australia finished the formalities in the first session of the fifth day and emerged as the winner. Virat Kohli who seems to be a threat for Australia fell one run short of a fifty. Jadeja fell in the same over and that’s when India fell back completely. From then, there was no looking back for Australia who picked wickets at regular intervals. Even Rahane couldn’t do much. Shardul fell for a duck as well.
Nathan Lyon was the pick of the bowlers, he took four wickets. Scott Boland threatened India as he took three crucial wickets. As a result, India got bundled out for just 234 runs. None of the Indian batsmen completed even a half-century which reflects the sorrowful state of the Indian batting lineup.
