The auction for the Inaugural Women’s Premiere League has been happening and some big names have bagged huge amounts at the auction. The star batter of Team India Smriti Mandhana has been bagged by RCB for a whopping Rs. 3.4 Crores. She was the first player to go under the hammer at the auction table. Indian Captain Harmanpreet Kaur was the second name picked at the auction and she was picked for Rs. 1.8 Crores by Mumbai Indians.

Delhi Capitals opened their account with Jemimah Rodrigues for Rs. 2.2 Crores. They also bagged Australia’s Meg Lanning for Rs. 1.1 Crores. India’s explosive batter Shafali Verma has gone to Delhi for Rs. 2 Crores.

The No. 1 T20 allrounder Ash Garner has been bagged by Gujarat Giants for Rs. 3.2 Crores and her colleague Beth Mooney goes to the same team for Rs. 2 Crores. Wicket Keeper and finisher Richa Ghosh has gone to RCB for Rs. 1.9 Crores.
