Sri Lankan legendary fast bowler Lasith Malinga will serve Rajasthan Royals as the fast bowling coach for the 15th season of IPL which will kickstart on March 26th. Rajasthan Royals made an official confirmation regarding the same. Lasith Malinga is a star bowler in both International Cricket and Indian Premier League.
He was the leading wicket-taker in the IPL taking 170 wickets in 122 games. Malinga is prominently known as yorker king. His diversified bowling action is difficult to understand. Lasith Malinga will share the experience with the young talents of the Rajasthan Royals.
It will be interesting to see Malinga serving Rajasthan Royals as he is an ardent fan of the popular franchise Mumbai Indians where he played ten seasons. He has become an integral part of the Mumbai Indians then. Nevertheless, it will be a new role for the star fast bowler. This IPL season will see two new teams, Gujarat Titans, and Lucknow Super Giants.
