Indian skipper Rohit Sharma is going to miss the third and final ODI along with the two-match test series against Bangladesh. It is known that Rohit Sharma spits his webbing while attempting a catch at the second slip. Later, he came to bat when his team needed the most and scored a crucial half-century with stitches to his finger. However, India still lost the match and the series as well.
Rohit Sharma returned to Mumbai and is consulting a specialist regarding his injury. It is said that he is most likely to miss the test series which will start on the 14th of this month. Vice-Captain KL Rahul will lead the side in his absence. An official update from BCCI is awaited on this development though.
The two test matches which will be played in Chattogram and Dhaka respectively are very crucial to India for the chances of qualifying for the WTC final.
