Indian skipper Rohit Sharma injured himself in the second match against Bangladesh. Bangladesh won the toss and was elected to bat first in the second ODI. Rohit Sharma during the second over attempted a catch while fielding at the second slip. Siraj’s ball took the edge of Anamul and flew low to Rohit who was standing at the second slip.
He failed to catch it and even hurt himself in the process. His finger was bleeding and he immediately left the field. Rohit injured his webbing and was sent to the hospital for an X-ray. We have to wait and see for the seriousness of the injury.
On the other hand, Bangladesh were struggling in the second ODI. By the end of 20 overs, Bangladesh were at 71 for the loss of 6 wickets.
