Jos Buttler is just crazy in this IPL. He is on top of his form. He has already hit his third IPL century this season and only became the second cricketer to do so. Guess who was the first? Yes, it is Virat Kohli. But that is another topic. Coming to yesterday’s match, Rajasthan Royals has won the toss and opted to bat first. They have got the perfect start.

Jos Buttler and Devdutt Padikkal both batted cautiously and punished the bowlers whenever they missed the lines. Devdutt brought up his half-century and has fallen shortly after. However, Jos carried on. He has scored a superb ton. He has made 116 in 65 balls. Samson’s brilliant finish of 46 in just 19 balls has propelled RR to 222 in 20 overs.

Chasing 223 is always difficult regardless of the pitch. However, Delhi Capitals decided to take it on. David Warner and Prithvi Shaw gave them a quick start. Rishabh Pant and Lalit Yadav continued the momentum but the required push to chase down the mammoth total never kicked on.

However, with 36 required off 6 balls, Rovman Powell hit three sixes in a row and that sent chills down the spine of RR camp. The no-ball issue has created a bit of controversy, but the DC eventually were short of 15 runs.
