Rohit Sharma had a slightly tense moment after a throw-down ball nipped back in sharply and hit his forearm. Rohit minced in pain and immediately left off the training session. He was taken care of by the medical unit and sprays were applied. Rohit came back to the practice after five minutes but played only one ball. He was uncomfortable and left again.
He was seen applying an ice pack to his forearm. Raghavendra, who was the throw-down specialist looked tense. However, Rohit came back after thirty minutes and started batting with easy throwdowns. After a few balls, he was comfortable again. After the training session, Rohit spoke for a few minutes with Raghavendra to ease him down.
It looked tense at the start but all is well at the end. With another practice session left, we can say that Rohit is well on course to play in the semifinal.
