India has whitewashed West Indies in the 3-match ODI series. After competing to the end in the first 2 ODIs, West Indies gave up easily in the final one, or rather we could say India gave a complete performance. Shikhar Dhawan won the toss and elected to bat first. Dhawan and Gill gave India another perfect start as Dhawan notched up a half-century and Shubman Gill went on to score 98 runs. If not for constant rain delays, he could have scored his maiden ton.

Shreyas Iyer scored a quick 44 in just 34 balls which turned crucial. At the end of 36 overs, India managed to score 225 runs for the loss of three wickets. As per the DLS, West Indies were given 257 runs target for 35 overs.

Siraj pegged the wickets of Mayers and Brooks in his first over and threw WI into defense. Yuzvendra Chahal has shown great composure with the bowl and picked up four crucial wickets. West Indies were bowled out of 137 runs.
