Jasprit Bumrah who has been facing the threat of getting eliminated from the T20 world cup is now officially out. Bumrah initially missed the 3-match T20I series but BCCI doesn’t rule out the chances of Bumrah’s exit. They played the waiting game but the evident has happened.
BCCI has officially announced that Bumrah will be out of the T20 world cup. “The BCCI Medical team has ruled out Team India fast bowler Jasprit Bumrah from the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup squad. The decision was taken following a detailed assessment and in consultation with the specialists,” said BCCI’s official press note.
The BCCI will be naming a replacement for Jasprit Bumrah very soon. It is known that Mohd. Siraj replaced Bumrah for the South Africa T20 series.
