India is in a rather uncomfortable scenario in the ongoing Asia Cup. Two wins in two games in the league stage turned India into a favorite to win the Asia Cup. However, the tables turned very fast as India had to face two losses in just three days and is on the verge of elimination.
However, India can still qualify if a few scenarios play in their favor. Firstly, Pakistan has to lose to Afghanistan. If Pakistan wins today, then both India and Afghanistan will be out of the Asia Cup.
If Afghanistan wins today then Sri Lanka should beat Afghanistan in the last super 4 game. On top of these scenarios, India’s NRR should be higher than that of Pakistan and Afghanistan.
If all these should happen collectively then India will have a chance to enter the finals.
