Chetan Sharma sting video: “Virat Kohli considered himself bigger than the game”

Team India Chief Selector Chetan Sharma made some sensational revelations in the sting operation conducted by a media channel. In the video, Chetan Sharma revealed many statements which will shake the BCCI. According to him, Virat Kohli considered himself bigger than the game and there were ego clashes between Virat Kohli and Saurav Ganguly, the then BCCI President.

“When a player grows in the sport, he tends to think that he is bigger than the game, which is not. Many big players come and go but the cricket is the same,” he said. Chetan Sharma said that Saurav Ganguly indeed asked Virat Kohli to consider stepping down from the T20I captaincy and wanted to continue as the captain in ODI and Tests.

However, Saurav Ganguly doesn’t want two captains for white ball games and hence he was removed from the captaincy. Chetan Sharma also said that there are no clashes between Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli. “They are two big personalities just like Amitabh and Dharmendra. In each other’s low, the other one has supported,” he concluded.
