Elections are just like a festival, however, this comes every 5 years. Be it assembly or parliament, elections are always like a festival for many sectors. Social media promotions have become quite a norm these days. In fact, social media promotions can take you to the deepest routes of the public. Even the deepest villagers have smartphones and social media is booming there.
In the upcoming Telangana elections, three main political parties in the state have spent some huge bucks on social media promotions and Google has released that list now. In the list, the ruling party BRS has spent the most. The data reveals that the BRS party has spent Rs. 10.69 Crores posting 1493 ads. This has been done in just 26 days.
The second in the list is the Congress. In two months, Congress spent Rs. 92 lakhs posting 150 ads. All in all, Congress has spent Rs. 4 Crores 12 lakhs for social media promotions. The third-party BJP is quite lagging behind in the list. They spent Rs. 10 lakhs on promotions.
