The Telangana High Court issued an interim order regarding the construction activity in Jubilee Hills Housing Society. The HC issued an interim order directing the status quo on the disputed land. A person named J. Srikant Babu and others filed a petition in the court regarding the 595 square yards of land alleging that the land which was meant for public purpose was sold to Mr. K. Chiranjeevi by the Jubilee Hills Housing Society.
The lawyer from the petitioner’s side argued that the society selling the land to Chiranjeevi is illegal and was updated that Chiranjeevi has already started construction on the land. The court heard arguments from both sides and directed GHMC and Jubilee Hills Housing Society to file counter affidavits. The next hearing was adjourned to the hearing on April 25th.
