Goshamahal BJP MLA Raja Singh has been arrested yet again. It is known that Raja Singh’s comments on Prophet Muhammed have drawn so much rage in Hyderabad. Several cases have been filed against the MLA and have been taken into custody. and was later released on the orders of the court.
Today, he was again arrested under the PD act. Prevention Detention Act, in short, PD Act. According to Preventive Detention Act 1950, it can be extended beyond three months up to a total of twelve months, only on the favorable recommendation of an advisory board, made up of High Court judges or persons eligible to be appointed High Court judges.
Post the arrest, he was taken to the Gandhi Hospital for a medical check-up. He is then shifted to Cherlapally Jail.
Hours before his second-time arrest, Raja Singh posted a video in which he alleged CM KCR is behind the arrests. He said, “I am neither scared of bullets, hanging nor jail and I will keep fighting for the sake of Dharma. If somebody insults my God, I cannot accept it.”
