There was a lot of uproar on the ninth day of the budget session of the Bihar Legislative Assembly. BJP MLA from Patepur Lakhendra Paswan was seen breaking the mike during the question hour on Tuesday. He has been suspended from the proceedings of the House for two days.
This uproar started when issues related to social welfare were being raised by the BJP. On this, Madan Sahni, Social Welfare Minister of Bihar Government replied. Meanwhile, BJP MLA Lakhendra Paswan Roshan got up to ask something. It is seen in the video that he is trying to turn on the mic.
When the mike was not on, the MLA vented his anger on the mike itself and broke it. After this, the Speaker of the Assembly suspended Lakhendra Paswan for two days.
However, after the incident, an MLA is seen trying to reconnect Mike. BJP alleged that after breaking the mike, Lakhendra Paswan was abused by the MLAs of the Left party.
After this allegation, a huge uproar started in the House and an attempt was made to calm the uproar by calling Marshal. Due to the uproar, the proceedings of the House had to be adjourned till two o’clock.
Earlier during the budget session, as soon as the proceedings started on Tuesday, the BJP raised the issue of corruption against Deputy Chief Minister Tejashwi Yadav and raised slogans.
At the same time, the issue of alleged misuse of central agencies of the central government is also being raised by the RJD. After the suspension of the BJP MLA, the BJP came out of the house and started a sit-in.
BJP Legislature Party leader Vijay Kumar Sinha has said that the matter of breaking the mike is completely wrong, it was not broken but opened. The BJP side said that the mike was faulty and he went out to adjust it.
