Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) is on the verge of a famous victory. In a tight clash with Komatireddy Rajagopal Reddy (BJP), TRS has gained upper hand. TRS’s candidate Koosukuntla Prabhakar Reddy who lost to Komatireddy in the 2018 elections has turned the tables this time. After the completion of 14 rounds, the TRS lead extended to 10K votes.
With this it is certain that TRS is going to emerge victorious in the by-elections. The celebrations started at the Pragati Bhavan, the state headquarters for the Telangana Rashtra Samithi party.
A large number of TRS supporters and activists were seen at the Pragati Bhavan and they celebrated the victory by bursting crackers and chanting the slogans “Jai KCR, Jai Jai Telangana”.
Komatireddy Rajagopal Reddy met the press after the results became certain. He stated that he respects the people’s mandate but the moral victory belongs to him.
