Though former cricketer Ambati Rayudu is not accepting, it is inevitable that he is seeking an MP ticket from the ruling party in Andhra Pradesh. Ambati Rayudu toured across Guntur district very recently and came to know about the problems being faced by the people in the constituency.
Ambati Rayudu went to Velagapudi of Tullur Mandal in Amaravati region today. Local YSRCP leaders invited Rayudu to the place and knowing this Amaravati farmers who have been protesting against moving the capital region from the place have met Rayudu.
They have asked to extend his support to the capital region. Ambati Rayudu on this occasion said that Amaravati would be there and would not go anywhere. Later, Amaravati farmers requested him to visit the protest camp but Rayudu denied the request stating that he had no time for this and assured him that he would make a visit next time. However, the farmers were angry at Rayudu for not extending his support to the capital.
