Jana Sena chief Pawan Kalyan participated in the BJP meeting yesterday evening in Telangana where Prime Minister Narendra Modi took part. Pawan Kalyan was praised by Narendra Modi when he said, “Mere Saath Pawan Hain.” It is known that Pawan Kalyan announced that Jana Sena would be contesting in 32 constituencies in Telangana for the upcoming elections but the reality is very low.
Jana Sena is only confined to 8 constituencies. Pawan Kalyan announced the names of the eight candidates that are going to be contesting in the upcoming elections.

- Mekala Satish Reddy – Kodad
- Vanga Lakshman Goud – NagarKurnool
- Miryala Ramakrishna – Khammam
- Lakkineni Surender Rao – Kothagudem
- Dr. Tejawath Sampath Naik – Wyra (ST)
- Muyaboyina Umadevi – Aswaraopet (ST)
Pawan Kalyan thanked the BJP for letting them contest along with the national party in the Telangana elections. However, Jana Sena might not be fully happy with the smaller number of seats allocated to them.
