It is known that a large number of Telugu people live in Atlanta, the historic city of America. Telugu Association of Metro Atlanta (TAMA) is an organization formed by all the Telugu people there. Recently Bathukamma celebrations and Dussehra festivals were celebrated grandly under TAMA’s leadership.
More than 1200 children, adults and women participated in these celebrations. Children and women attended in large numbers. Despite crossing the continents, Bathukamma celebrations are still held with grandeur. They greeted each other warmly and the festivities were in the air. Apart from many cultural programs, service programs are also being organized under TAMA’s leadership.
Sunita Potnuru, Ravi Kalli, Sriram Royyala, Sahitya Vinjamuri, Srivalli Sridhar, and hundreds of others participated in these celebrations.
