Bathukamma celebrations happened in a grand style in Kansas City. The celebrations were held under the aegis of the Kansas City Telangana Association (KCTCA) and the Telugu Association of Kansas City (TAGKC). More than 1500 women and men participated in these celebrations.
Bathukamma is a special celebration for the Telangana people. The festivities happened with a lot of exotic and rare flowers decorated in Bathukamma style. Women especially celebrated this festival with utmost devotion.
Sridevi, Kiran, Sarita, Surya, Sandeep, Sushma, Sarala, Jaya, Bindu, Raj, Neelima, Sunil, Padmaja, Siri, Rupa, Vijay, Sucharita, Vishwa, Vasu, Venkat Rao, Venkat, and others participated in this ceremony.
