The famous Sai Datta Peetham Sri Shiva Vishnu Temple in Edison, New Jersey has organized a donation camp for charity purposes in which school supplies like backpacks, stationery, and other school supplies were donated to the Children. Ramesh Babu Yalamanchili garu has provided backpacks and other devotees, and volunteers have sponsored school supplies. This is the 9th year of the “back to school” drive
Many NRIs have participated in the donation camp where the school supplies were donated to the children. It is one of the charity events conducted by SDP SSV temple. The other events include Blood Drive, Clothing Drive, Donations, Fund Drive, Health Fair, Natural Calamities, Sandwich Seva, and Toy Drive.
NRIs who participated in the event praised Ramesh Babu Yalamanchili garu for sponsoring such a noble cause. Ex-assemblyman, NJ, USA Upendra Chivukula, and SDP SSV temple chairman Shankaramanchi Raghu Sharma garu were a part of this donation drive. Sujata Vemparala garu, Padma garu from Atlantic City, Ashok Swamy, Murali Medicharla garu, and many other SDP volunteers participated. Disha and Sreedhar Garg youth volunteers of Charity sold their old class books and raised money to get supplies as well.
