The Independence Day Celebrations happened with much pride in New Jersey, USA. The tricolor flag was hoisted at Sai Datta Peetham and Cultural Center’s Sri Shiva Vishnu Temple, New Jersey. Edison Mayor ‘Sam Joshi’, New Jersey Assembly Member ‘Sterley Stanley’, Commissioner of Public Utilities ‘Upendra Chivukula’ and Councilman Ajay Patil were the chief guests for this flag unveiling.
NRIs MS Khara, Krishna Kumar, Virendra Tewatia, Peter Kothari, Rajiv Babri, Biral Patel, and Manasi Mathur participated in this program. Along with Dr. Shivakumar Anand, BJP leader Pathuri Nagabhushanam participated in the event and made a grand appearance. Later, people worshiped in the temple and sought blessings.
