The auspicious Karthika Pournami has been celebrated with much divinity at the famous Sri Datta Peetham Sri Siva Vishnu Temple located in Edison. It is known that Karthika Month is a very divine month for the Hindus as they seek the blessings of the god Shiva with utmost devotion.
Karthika Pournami is the important day in the month of Karthika month and the NRIs though in their busy schedules made time to offer deepotsavam at the temple. Many NRIs participated in the Karthika Deepotsavam that was performed in the temple. We can see in the pics how the auspicious day puja was performed.
Shankaramanchi Raghu Sharma, chairman of the temple and the head priest organized the deepotsavam and performed the pujas. The photos for this event were taken by Dr. Shiva Kumar Anand.
