The Ugadi celebrations were held with grandeur at Sai Datta Peetham in Edison, US. A large number of Telugu NRIs participated in these celebrations. Ugadi is the first festival for the Telugu people as it marks the Telugu New Year. It will be celebrated with much enthusiasm. Even the NRIs who stay away thousands of miles from their homeland celebrated the New Year.
Under the leadership of Sankaramanchi Raghu Sharma, Ugadi celebrations were held at Sri Shiva Vishnu Temple in Sai Datta Peetham. Dr. Jai Yalamanchili, creator of the UBlood App, advisor of JSW & Jaiswaraajya.tv organizations along with his family participated in these celebrations. Also JSW & Jaiswaraajya.tv Global Director Dr. Sivakumar Anand and Yalamanchili Ramesh Babu along with many Telugu people participated in this event along with their families.
Those who participated in the event enjoyed the Ugadi Pachadi and listened to the Panchanga Sravanam which is a tradition of Ugadi.
