Sai Datta Peetham and Sri Shiva Vishnu Temple (SDP SSV) in Edison, New Jersey, USA, started the five-day initiation on Tuesday (June 13) as part of the Aarupadai Veedu idol installation ceremonies. Vijayawada Kanaka Durga Temple Chief Priest Brahmashree Sankara Sandilya Sharma conducted the first day of Puja. As per the mythology, Aarupadai Veedu is the six abodes of Lord Murugan (Subramanya Swamy) showing the six different forms pertaining to the six different events that took place in his life.
Speaking about the puja, Brahmashree Sankara Sandilya Sharma said that though he was trying to do this puja but failed for six years, and now it became a reality due to the efforts of Dr. Jai Yalamanchili.
On Friday (June 16), Dr. Jai Yalamanchili and Lavanya will be installing the Swamy idol. The chief priest said that more Vedic scholars are coming from India to bless the couple on the occasion. Brahmashree Sankara Sandilya Sharma blessed Jai to progress further in spirituality.
