Popular Tamil filmmaker Mani Ratnam has reportedly contracted COVID positive. Mani Ratnam is currently busy with the post-production works of his dream project Ponniyin Selvan 1. He has contracted COVID during his work and as per the TV reports, he has been rushed to hospital and admitted to Apollo Hospitals, Chennai.
A team of doctors is currently monitoring the condition of Mani Ratnam. The hospital authorities are yet to release a statement regarding the development. As per the inside info, Mani Ratnam is stable but as a precautionary measure, he was taken to the hospital.
Mani Ratnam recently made a public appearance when he attended the funeral of actor Pratap Pothen who demised this month. He attended the teaser launch of his upcoming movie PS 1 earlier this month. Ponniyin Selvan is a two-part movie based on Kalki’s novel of the same name. PS 1 will be released on September 30th.
