The Sankranthi fate was out and only one film emerged clear victorious. HanuMan which was released as a small film has now dominated all the other Sankranthi releases. Guntur Kaaram hasn’t lived up to the hype but Mahesh’s stamina pulled out from embarrassment. Naa Saami Ranga turned out to be a Sankranthi hit. Saindhav was a complete washout.
With the Sankranthi fate clear, the focus is the next biggest season, Summer. If one can remember, the 2023 Sankranthi season was completely wasted with no notable releases but this year, it will be different. Many exciting films are lining up for release.
Siddhu’s Tillu Square, NTR’s Devara, Vijay Deverakonda’s Family Star, Suriya’s Kanguva, Ram’s Double iSmart, Prabhas’s Kalki, Kamal Haasan’s Indian 2, Gopichand and Srinu Vaitla’s untitled film were some of those few films which were announced for this Summer season. We have to wait and see how many of these will emerge victorious.
