Universal Star Kamal Haasan and Legendary director Mani Ratnam have teamed up after decades for the movie Thug Life. The movie’s shooting was on a break as Kamal Haasan had to meet his political commitments. With Lok Sabha elections around the corner, Kamal Haasan became active again in politics.
The next schedule of Thug Life will kickstart once the election results are announced. Dulquer Salman and Jayam Ravi who were initially part of the movie’s cast have walked out citing dates issues. Now, the team is on the hunt to find the right replacements and has been considering Simbu for an important role.
At this moment, it is still unclear whether Simbu is on for Jayam Ravi’s role or Dulquer Salman’s role. An official confirmation regarding this will be made very soon. Raaj Kamal Films International, Madras Talkies, and Red Giant Movies are the producers of this high-voltage action entertainer. Trisha, Abhirami, Nassar, Gautham Karthik, Joju George and Aishwarya Lekshmi play other important roles in the film.
