As per the Sacramento Police, at least 6 people were dead and another 12 were injured after an unknown ceased fire in California’s Sacramento downtown. At a news conference, Sacramento Police Chief Kathy Lester briefed about the incident.
The Sacramento Police were patrolling the area when they heard multiple gunshots. After reaching the area, at least six people were dead by then and a large crowd gathered by then. The incident happened at around 2 AM.
Authorities haven’t confirmed as of yet whether one or more suspects were involved in the mass shooting. A few footage of the incident has been doing rounds on Twitter which showcases people running through the streets after hearing gunshots.
The Police officials have requested any evidence, witnesses, or anyone with the recording of the incident. Officials have also confirmed that the scene will remain active and the people were advised to avoid the area.
