Indian-origin doctor Dharmesh A Patel drove his Tesla off the cliff and the authorities confirm that it was an intentional act. His wife and two children were there in the car. Miraculously, no one has fatal injuries in this incident and all four of them sustained moderate injuries. It was a rare case as everyone in the car was safe as the car fell off from nearly 250 to 300 feet. Apparently, seatbelts saved the lives of these four.
All four have been shifted to a private hospital nearby. Going into the details, the doctor while driving his Tesla intentionally drove it off at the Devil’s slide in San Mateo Country. While the adults from the vehicle were airlifted using a chopper, firefighter teams got down the cliff and rescued the two children, a 7-year-old and a 4-year-old.
Police officials are planning to book the case against the driver who is the doctor with three counts of attempted murder and two counts of child abuse. He will be sent to San Mateo County Jail after he recovered completely.
