Tesla, Space X, and Twitter CEO Elon Musk met Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi today. It is known that Modi is in the United States for his three-day state visit. He had a brief meeting with Elon Musk. After the meeting, Musk briefed them about the interaction with the media. On Twitter, Musk mentioned Modi and said it was an honor to meet him again.
Elon Musk in his interaction with the media admitted that he is a big fan of Modi. Musk who previously said that Tesla will not come to India unless the tariffs were reduced for imported Teslas to be sold in India has now changed his plans. “As soon as it is humanly possible Tesla will now come to India,” he said. Musk has high praises for Narendra Modi. He said that Modi really wants to do the right thing for India. He is pushing us to make significant investments in India.
Elon Musk further added, “India has more promise than any other large country in the world. I was invited by him to India and will plan to visit next year.”
