Rahul Gandhi is all set to start his Bharat Jodo yatra. Ahead of starting his yatra, Rahul Gandhi has paid tributes to his father at the Rajiv Gandhi’s memorial at Sriperumbudur on Wednesday. Rajiv Gandhi was killed at the same place in a suicide attack. After paying tributes, Rahul Gandhi said that he has lost his father to the politics of hate but is not ready to lose the country for it.

He tweeted by posting a picture of him paying the tributes to his father, “I lost my father to the politics of hate and division. I will not lose my beloved country to it too. Love will conquer hate. Hope will defeat fear. Together, we will overcome.”

Bharat Jodo yatra will be launched today in Kanyakumari with a rally at around 5 PM. The yatra will start tomorrow morning. As a part of his yatra, it is a mega marathon as Rahul Gandhi is set to cover over 3,500 kilometers spanning 150 days. He will walk from Kanyakumari to Kashmir covering 12 states and two union territories.
