International Cricket Council (ICC) has announced Virat Kohli’s straight drive six against Haris Rauf in the T20 World Cup 2022 is the shot of the century. India were struggling at that moment when they needed 28 to score in just 8 balls. At the moment, Haris Rauf was bowling beautifully but that didn’t stop Virat Kohli from going.
He hit a straight drive six against the bowler’s head which changed the momentum. Virat Kohli followed it up with another sixer. He eventually led the team to victory in the last over.
ICC termed it the shot of the century. ICC posted, “Celebrate Virat Kohli’s birthday with a look back at his top 10 moments in ICC tournaments,” wrote ICC. Have a look at it.
