Cricketer Manoj Tiwary who has recently retired has finally opened up about his sudden omission from the scheme of things in Indian Cricket. He said that despite scoring a century he was ignored for the side. Manoj Tiwary didn’t play any international match for seven months after scoring a century against West Indies. For the period between 2008 to 2015, Manoj Tiwary played 12 ODIs and 3 T20Is for the nation.

Manoj Tiwary said that he wanted to ask MS Dhoni why he had to wait 14 matches for a chance to play in the XI after his player-of-the-match performance. “Especially in that series against Australia, where no one was scoring runs, neither Virat Kohli, Suresh Raina, nor Rohit Sharma. I have nothing to lose now. I want to hear from him the reason,” said Manoj Tiwary.

He further said that if given opportunities he could be as heroic as Virat Kohli or Rohit Sharma. Tiwary announced his retirement from all forms of cricket with the recent Bengal’s Ranji Trophy Campaign.
