India completed the formalities in the second session of the fourth day in style. After coming to bat and losing six wickets post-lunch, England started to bat positively. However, there was a moment of magic in the field, and the laziness of Stokes running resulted in a runout. But, Foakes and Hartley tried to stitch a partnership and took the innings close to the target.

Once again, Jasprit Bumrah has shown his magic. His deliveries to get rid of Foakes and Hartley were quite exceptional. After the wicket of Foakes, England has shown little resistance. Shoaib Bashir nicked to the keeper and that was the first wicket of Mukesh Kumar in the test. As a result, England were bundled out for just 292 leaving short of 102 runs.

While Bumrah and Ashwin picked up three wickets, Mukesh Kumar, Kuldeep Yadav, and Axar Patel picked up a wicket each. With this win, India leveled the series 1-1. Jasprit Bumrah picked up 9 wickets in the match and was adjudged player of the match.

The third test will be played at Rajkot from February 15th.
