The fourth test between India and England commenced today a few minutes back. The match is being played in Ranchi. England won the toss and elected to bat first. While England made two changes to the playing XI from the previous test, India made one change.

It is already known that Jasprit Bumrah has been given rest for the fourth test and India has given Akash Deep, a test cap. He is a right-arm medium pacer from Bihar. With this debut, India has so far introduced four players to International cricket in this series.

Rajat Patidar, Sarfaraz Khan, Dhruv Jurel, and now Akash Deep have made debuts in this series. England contrary to their Bazball approach have started their innings cautiously. For the first six overs, England made 18-0. Slowly the batters are getting into the groove with Zak Crawley being more confident. India needs to take an early wicket to gain the upper hand in the test.
